Design and Development Engineer
Job Description:
This position is responsible
for the design and development of hydraulic cartridge valves and circuits
utilizing computer aid design equipment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated
individual with the following characteristics:

Bachelor Degree in Fluid Power, Mechanical
or Electrical Engineering. Equivalent hydraulic design experience
will also be considered.
2+ years of technical experience in hydraulics, preferable on
cartridge valves and circuit design and/or development.
Computer Aid Design (CAD) knowledge
required, AutoCAD or 3D Solid Modeling experience a plus.
Comfortable to work in computers general
applications (Excel & word).

Testing Operator
Job Description:
This individual is responsible for completion of all assemblies assigned by the Test Lead in a timely manner to assure completion of customer’s schedules by the due dates; utilization of proper test procedures and schematics for individual assemblies; adherence to all Command Controls rules.
Responsibilties:
This position is responsible for the following:
- Test assigned valves by Test Lead
- Utilization of proper test procedures and schematics.
- Cross train as directed by Test Lead
- Use care as it pertains to safety in testing
- Adherence to all Command Controls rules
- Timely completion of all assemblies assigned by Test Lead.
- Suggestions as to test process improvements
- Proper interaction with Test Lead and peers.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with the
following characteristics:
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.
- Must be able to quickly learn and follow verbal instructions.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Purchasing Manager
Job Description:
This individual is a key player responsible for development, evaluation and implementation of strategic sourcing of Raw Material; including supplier strategies, negotiate long-term supplier agreements, implement/enforce performance measures, cost and inventory controls. The individual will manage several areas including: Purchasing, Inventory and Receiving. These areas need to be reviewed, tracked and report happenings directly to the General Manager. The individual will also be responsible for MRO Purchases, EPN Tracking and a select group of component piece parts.
Responsibilties:
This position is responsible for the following:
- Identifying and Qualifying new and existing suppliers worldwide, who can meet Quality and Delivery requirements.
- Approving negotiated pricing contracts with existing and new suppliers.
- Develop a teamwork environment internally and with suppliers. Keeping all departments aware of problematic issues.
- Communicating Engineering design objectives so it is understandable to suppliers.
- Develop and maintain a Supplier rating system that determines supplier qualification.
- Work on continued improvement of supplier cost reduction objectives.
- Work with Production in closely monitoring Inventory, using Lean Principles, both externally and in-house for all Raw Material, WIP, and Finished Goods.
- Maintain and improve Costs, quality and resolve cost recovery for quality problems with suppliers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve processes and systems related to Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory management.
- Coordinate Shipping and Receiving of Purchased/Manufactured components.
- Communicate and work in Teams to drive Continuous Improvements
- Maintain a positive organization structure and culture.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with the
following characteristics:
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, time management, negotiation and follow through skills
- Able to process daily and weekly purchasing requirement – parts processing, routing and expediting
- Knowledge in processing machined components that require outside processing and following to insure timely delivery performance
- Ability to work closely with other departments – Manufacturing, Engineering, Production and Shipping/Receiving Departments
- Thorough knowledge of MRP systems, inventory control, purchasing and shipping
- Global Supplier Management Experience: Proven track record in developing and managing key/strategic supplier relationships worldwide over multiple product lines, resulting in improved performance and cost
